1. Data Collected
As part of its activity, AUPIEL collects the following personal data: first and last name; postal address; email address; phone number. This data is collected when you place an order, create a customer account, or subscribe to the newsletter.
2. Use of Data and Legal Basis
Your personal data is used only for the following purposes:
Order processing and management — legal basis: performance of the contract.
Product delivery — legal basis: performance of the contract.
Customer relationship management and responding to your requests — legal basis: performance of the contract / AUPIEL's legitimate interest.
Sending commercial information and newsletters — legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Compliance with accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.
3. Cookies
The AUPIEL website uses only the technical cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the site, provided by the Shopify platform. No advertising or third-party marketing tracking cookies are currently used.
4. Data Sharing
Your personal data is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the service, in particular: payment providers and carriers/delivery companies. AUPIEL never sells or rents your personal data to third parties.
5. International Data Transfers
Some of AUPIEL's service providers — in particular the Shopify hosting platform (Shopify Inc., based in Canada) — may process data outside the European Union. Where this is the case, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (an adequacy decision of the European Commission and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
Customer account data: retained as long as the account is active, then deleted after 3 years of inactivity (no purchase or login).
Order and invoicing data: retained for 10 years to meet legal accounting obligations (Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code).
Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 3 years from your last contact with us.
7. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; rectify it; erase it; object to its processing; restrict its processing; data portability; and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal).
